The cook behind the chaos
About Ketaki
Hi, I'm Ketaki, the cook, baker, and happy mess-maker behind Ket's Chaotic Kitchen. I grew up around Indian home cooking, where dinner was loud, generous, and never quite measured, and that is still how I cook today: big on flavour, light on fuss, and always a little chaotic.
My kitchen swings between worlds. One day it is a Maharashtrian usal or a one-pot pav bhaji, the next it is a Basque cheesecake, a Thai yellow curry, or a bagel piled far too high to bite. I bake constantly, loaf cakes and mug cakes and anything I can sneak fruit and pistachios into, and I am convinced a good air fryer and a bit of jugaad can get you surprisingly far.
I am not precious about technique. If a shortcut works, I will tell you to take it. If store-bought saves your evening, use it. The whole point is food that tastes like someone made it with love, even on a chaotic Tuesday.
